Though we were strangers in a strange land, we felt so at home and peaceful exploring the Quiraing. It was a cool day, the wind was blowing, there was a rain storm brewing in the distance and we were practically by ourselves in this unique corner of the world.
The people walking in the distance against this vast terrain offer both a visual and philosophical perspective on what it felt like to experience the grandeur of a place like this.
It is a great reminder that when we step away from the little things that consume our day to day and spend time in nature, we are rewarded with opportunities for contemplation, reflection and rest.
